Pressing Issues

Why do you sell paper prints larger than my press size?

The most common press size on the market is a 16"x20" press size. S&K sells Dye Sub Paper Transfers that are 18"x22" to allow for a 1" overlap of the entire press. The overlap is done to minimize any paper crease lines that could occur when pressing IF the paper edge is UNDER the press. If the paper edge is on the item and under the press it WILL cause a permanent crease in the fabric that will not come out! The larger paper helps to ensure that you will not have the paper edge under the press, as it will always be outside of the press.
