Printing

I have a dark colored garment, will I be able to do a Dye Sub print on it?

Because the inks that are used in the Dye Sublimation process are translucent ( light can pass through it ) you will see the color of the fabric through the color of the inks used. Since the inks do not have an opaque quality ( they are not solid like paint ) the inks will not show up very well on dark colored items such as red, navy, dark brown, black, etc. Even using light colored fabric, other than white, will cause some color 'diming' and color shifting as the fabric color will be seen through the inks of the print. The only good options for dark colored items is to either use vinyl or silkscreen, which are both opaque and will not let the background fabric show through. The down side of using those techniques is that they are very time consuming for color changes do not allow for the full color range like Dye Sub does.
