Pressing Issues

I tried pressing a piece of fabric ( sock, scarf, etc ) and when I removed it from the press it looks like my item is smaller and it appears to have a ghosted image.

Each fabric, when pressed, will react differently to the heat and pressure and may have some shrinking occur which may result in the item looking like it has multiple images pressed. As the item shrinks in the heat press the inks will continue to be pressed on the item, but now in different places so ghosting may occur. We suggest that you try doing a test press first ( without the dye sub paper ) to see if the item shrinks. If it does have shrinkage we recommend that you do pre-pressing of each item to allow the item to shrink before you do the artwork pressing. This should eliminate most of the ghosting issues caused do to shrinking fabric/items.
